Not necessarily. The birchwood mosaic frames are designed for indoor use. Sealing isn’t required but can provide extra protection. If you’d like to seal the wood, use Minwax Sealant or a mixture of Weldbond and water (1 part Weldbond to 4 parts water).

No. Frames are sold as substrates only unless you’re purchasing a full kit or additional supplies.

Yes! All frames include hanging hardware. Exterior frames also come with two hardware systems: a wall hanger and two U-clips for mounting on ½” rebar garden stakes.

Yes! This special MDF has zero absorption and is the same material my manufacturer uses for custom signage in tropical outdoor environments with heavy rainfall. It’s an excellent exterior option.
