This 3′ x 5′ sculpted mosaic panel represents a Tree of Life and was commissioned in 2013 by the Richfield Middle School in Richfield, Minnesota, to celebrate the students’ vibrant Latino culture and heritage.
This 2013 project was funded by the voters of Minneapolis through grants from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund, and by a grant from the City of Minneapolis Graffiti Prevention Program.
