Sharra Frank was the Lead Artist of this mural and worked in partnership with grant writer and project coordinator, Mary Ann Schoenberger of Volunteers of America-Minnesota’s Southwest Senior Center.
This Mural was created over the course of six weeks by 200 volunteers, ages 1-99. The mural was installed onto the side of the Bryant Ave Market, located on Byrant Ave and 32nd St. in South Minneapolis. The design was inspired by the active bike boulevard on 32nd St. and Minnesota’s beautiful winterscapes. The mirror used in the snowflakes was repurposed from a local fitness gym.
